Two Turtle Doves
As we settle into our 2020 Dates of Christmas traditions, we’re learning that each evening is often best celebrated with a little bit of food and a little bit of entertainment. For today that meant finding ways to celebrate the lifelong love as represented by the two turtle doves (thanks Home Alone 2!).
And for a Wednesday evening right in the middle of the work week, that means keeping it abit simple. So we hung the mistletoe to represent our lifelong love, watched a Hallmark movie (based on the 12 Days of Christmas at that!) and started a Hallmark movie BINGO sheet to carry us through the season. And we wrapped up the evening with homemade chocolate turtles (made with Dove chocolate bars). It was the perfect little Christmas celebration for the middle of the week!
