Cozy Carols
It’s been a busy stretch lately with some really complicated Chrismtas dates. They’ve been fun, but they admittedly wear you down. So tonight, it was appreciate to have a simple evening in to enjoy the quaint sounds and activities of classic Christmas carols.
From actually trying to roast chestnuts on an open fire to brewing up some wassail, it felt very Dickensian. For an activity while we enjoyed these snacks, we played an "Alternative Christmas Titles Quiz". For example, what song could also be called "Small child who beats on things"? "Little Drummer Boy"! Or "A chocolate cake placed happily on top"? "Ding Dong Merrily on High" 🙂
