Christmas Stories
On Mondays, we try to keep it simple. Work days are long and we’re often exhausted by the time we get Miles and Edison down to bed. So, we grunged down and cozied up to enjoy an evening of Christmas stories.
We obviously had to read Luke 2 to capture THE story of Christmas. But we also paid homage to the iconic film “A Christmas Story”. And, though it’s definitely not a movie that Ben nor I would rank as the best Christmas film of all time, we did have fun with our menu of Chinese takeout and an “Oh Fudge” brownie mug treat.
And on top of those Christmas stories, we also tried to add in some new Christmas ones with a reading of several Christmas-themed short stories from Paul Harvey as well as a few Christmas-themed books we’d been recommended to start.
